My Story

Dear Reader,

My name is Tanatswa Niba and I am a driven and passionate law student at the University of Johannesburg. Throughout my academic journey, I have been fueled by a genuine desire to become a voice for change and make a positive impact in my community.

With dedication and perseverance, I have consistently achieved a strong average in my studies, earning academic awards and recognition for my hard work. My commitment to excellence has earned me a spot to pursue my L.L.M., with the ultimate goal of securing employment in academia, a reputable law firm, or a respected company that aligns with my values and passions.

However, despite my academic successes, I am currently facing a significant financial obstacle. I owe R140,000 in outstanding university fees, which I am struggling to pay due to limited financial resources. This debt is not only a financial burden but also a significant source of stress and anxiety.

To try to cover some of my fees, I have secured a job as a tutor, which will provide me with a modest income. Unfortunately, this income will not be enough to cover my outstanding fees on its own.

I firmly believe that completing my L.L.M. will open doors to greater job opportunities and enable me to make a more significant impact in my community. Your contribution will go directly toward settling my outstanding university fees, enabling me to access my results and take the next step toward achieving my academic and professional goals.
